"Mick" finished his US Championship at 9 1/2 months of age with 4 majors including "Winners Dog" at the 2001 Scottish Terrier Club of Chicago Specialty from the 6-9 month puppy class.

He won the STCA Duff-De Pac Man Puppy Dog Award all by himself.

Low to the ground and big bodied without coarseness is hard to find, but "Mick" has it.  He has perfect head planes and shoulder placement and a beautiful scissor bite. 

"Mick's" offspring include Group 1 winner, Ch. HIQ's Hop to It "Tuti", dam of Ch. J-Scot's Spirit of Patton (2006 top 25 scottish terrier and Group 1 winner himself.)

Ch. Cumbria's Madcap Escapade, 2006 "Winners Bitch" and "Best of Opposite Sex" winner at the Scottish Terrier Club of Michigan Specialty show. She also won a prestigious "Best Puppy in Show" at 9 months of age.

Ch. Little Bit's Nik of Diamonds, group winner for owner/handlers Jim and Diana Dearmond

Ch. Little Oak Catch Me Chloe, finished with 5 and 4pt majors for owners Lucille Regan,Regina Hess and Pat Wooster

Ch. HIQ Scot to be Special, owner/handled to his championship by Kenneth Freeburn

Ch. Cumbria's So Notorious, finished with 2 group placements from the puppy classes and ranked #9 in the US in breed points

2003-2008

"Howie" finished with 3 majors including "Winners Dog" and "Best of Opposite Sex" over Specials at the 2005 Scottish Terrier Club of Chicago Specialty. 

As a puppy, "Howie" won Best of Opposite Sex to Best in Sweepstakes at the Scottish Terrier Club of Northern Ohio Specialty under breeder/judge Helen Prince "Princescot".

In 2006, "Howie" won 2 Award of Merits at Specialties under breeder/judges Barbara Casey "Casi" and Fred Stephens "Glenby".

"Howie" is well known for his extremely long headpiece, ears that almost touch and tiny dark eyes. He has tremendous layback and a wide driving rear with excellent tail carriage. He's a powerful scottish terrier and a great choice to add bone and substance to any breeding program. 

He is from a litter of 6 champions, 5 US and 1 German Champion. 

"Howie" currently has 3 bitches in the showring. 

New Ch.Hijinks Pennywhistle won "Winners Bitch" and "Best of Winners" at the 2007 Scottish Terrier Club of Michigan Specialty from the 6-9 puppy class for owner/breeder Dr. Marcia Dawson DVM. Penny finished her championship with 3 majors!!!

Black Creek Howie's Girl won "Best in Sweepstakes" at the 2007 Scottish Terrier Club of Louisville Specialty for owner/breeder Frank Gyori.

Cumbria Strut the Stage at Hijinks was "Best of Opposite Sex to Best in Sweepstakes" at the 2008 Scottish Terrier Club of Atlanta Specialty.

"Jocko" is a "Mick" son who has done very well for himself as a puppy.  Before he turned a year, he had won 3 majors 4-3-3 and was reserve winners dog to 4 others.  He's won multiple puppy group placings.  "Jocko" is a handlers delight with a tails up attitude and plenty of fire.  He is a strong mover with a dead level topline, wide rear and great reach. Watch for him this year in the showring and specialties. "Jocko" just like his sire "Mick" won the STCA Ch. Duff De Pac Man Puppy Dog Award!

Wilson is a Bob Great-Grandson and he has Bob's best qualities and then some.  Wilson won Winners Dog and an Award of Merit at the Scottish Terrier Club of Northern Ohio Specialty Show from the 12-18 month class!  He also won Best in Sweepstakes at the Terrier Club of Michigan All Terrier Show and Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes at the Scottish Terrier Club of Chicago Specialty Show.

Wilson has a stunning headpiece with a beautiful eye and great scissor bite.  He has a great topline and wonderful lay-back which is difficult to find.

"Chase" is "Howie's" only son and in his first show for us, won a 3pt major under breeder/judge Dr. Vandra Huber!  He inherited "Howie's" great temperament and also his size.  This boy is big! He moves effortlessly and has a sleek long head with perfect ear placement.
