GCH. Dilligad Urban Legend " Chase" won Select Dog at the New York Specialty. The next day he won Select Dog again and I won Best Owner Handler with him. We then won a Group 2 in the Owner Handler Terrier Group

This past weekend in Auburn, Indiana, Wilson, Ch. Cumbria's Little Bit's Will's Way won Best of Breed for another Grand Champion Major! Ch. Cumbria's Madcap Escapade "Paige" won Best of Opposite Sex for another GrCh. point at the age of 7!

This past weekend at the Heart of America Specialty, GCH. Dilligad Urban Legend "Chase" daughters did very well. Cumbria's She Be Wild "Cali" won Winners Bitch for a 5 point major and GCH. Cumbria's Ready Jet Go "Remy" won Select Bitch. "Teddy" Barbary Cap'N Lightyear won Reserve Winners Dog. "Dani" Cumbria's Which Witch is Which won the 4-6 month puppy match. "Dani" is by CH. Charthill Super Chief and out of our "Bindi" CH. Cumbria's Witchful Thinking.

Cumbria Kennels had a wonderful 2011!

We had 3 AKC Champions:
Ch. Cumbria's Rated Feisty "Nigel"
Ch. Cumbria's Ready Jet Go "Remy"
Ch. Black Creek Howie's Girl "Sophie"

We also had 3 AKC Grand Champions:
GCH. Dilligad Urban Legend "Chase"
GCH. Cumbria's Ready Jet Go "Remy"
GCH. Cumbria's Rated Feisty "Nigel"

GCH. Cumbria's Ready Jet Go "Remy" won a Group 1 from the classes and Select Bitch at 3 different Specialties (Dallas, Chicago and Heart of America) She also won Best of Breed at the Terrier Club of MI Fall Show under Terrier expert, Sally George!

GCH. Cumbria's Rated Feisty "Nigel" won Select Dog at the Tampa Bay Specialty under breeder/ judge Fred Stephens "Glenby" and won an Award of Merit at the Heart of America Specialty

GCH. Dilligad Urban Legend "Chase" finished his Grand Championship and then came back after a 6 month break to win multiple Best of Breeds over specials and also won Best of Opposite Sex to his daughter "Remy" at the Terrier Club of MI fall show

Ch. Cumbria's Madcap Escapade "Paige" came out of a 4 year retirement to start her Grand Championship requirements. She won Best of Breed over 2 other specials her first time out! She now has 8 points and we will hopefully complete her requirements in 2012!

Barbary Cap"N Lightyear "Teddy" won 2 majors easily this year and will be pointed at specialties in 2012!

GCH. Dilligad Urban Legend "Chase" was the sire of 3 AKC Champions in 2012! GCH. Cumbria's Ready Jet Go, Ch. Kinross Thrill of the Chase and Ch. Kinross Cut to the Chase!

Ch. Cumbria's Witchful Thinking "Bindi" delivered a black puppy girl named "Dani" Cumbria's Which Witch is Which. Watch for "Dani" in 2012!

Ch. Cumbria's Little Bit's Will's Way "Wilson" became a father! Watch for his puppy boy, Roscot Major Wow Factor "Wally Bear" in 2012!

GCH. Dilligad Urban Legend "Chase" became a father again, siring a litter of 4 girls and 2 boys with Ch. Danzin Puttin on the Ritz "Ritzy" for breeder/owner Barb Zink "Danzin"!

Nigel finished his requirements for his Grand Championship this past weekend in Florida by going Select Dog at the Tampa Bay Specialty and then again on Sunday! He is now Grand Champion Cumbria's Rated Feisty!

Yesterday, "Mick" Ch. Cumbria Custom Made was put to sleep. He is the sire or grandsire of all but 3 of the dogs we currently have including Remy, Nigel, Wilson, Paige and Cali. "Mick" was a true terrier and would never back down from a fight. His show career was short, but stellar finishing at just 9 1/2 months old and he continued on with several group placements and award of merits at specialties. "Mick" will be greatly missed.

She just needs 1 single point to finish her championship! "Sophie" is by Ch. Cumbria's Here's How and she is the dam to "Teddy" the wheaten boy we are showing.

Yesterday at the Dallas Specialty, Ch. Cumbria's Ready Jet Go "Remy" won Select Bitch. She has now won 3 consecutive "Selects" at specialties and just needs a few more points for her Grand Championship.
