Ch. Charthill Grand Reward, otherwise known as "Bob", came to live with us in 1995 from Charla and Tom Hill's "Charthill Kennels" in South Carolina. Bob's father, Ch. Charthill Victory at Sea "Casey", is one of the most influencial stud dogs in scottish terrier history.

Born on November 24th 1994, "Bob" is our foundation sire and became the new starting point for Cumbria Kennels.

As a class dog, "Bob" won "Reserve Winners Dog" at both the Scottish Terrier Club of Atlanta and the Scottish Terrier Club of Northern Ohio Specialties.

1996 was "Bob's" banner year. That year he won "Best of Breed" at both the Scottish Terrier Club of Michigan and Scottish Terrier Club of Northern Ohio Specialty shows.

In 1997, "Bob" won "Best of Opposite Sex" at the Scottish Terrier Club of Northern Ohio and went on to win multiple group placments until he was 6 years old.

Brought out of retirement at the age of 9, "Bob" won an Award of Merit at the Scottish Terrier Club of Northern Ohio in 2003 against many younger specials.

"Bob" still proved he had that old spark in the show ring as he competed at the 2005 Scottish Terrier Club of Michigan Specialty at nearly age 11 and then again in 2006, 10 years after his specialty win, two months shy of 12.

"Bob" has sired 9 champions, including Ch. Cumbria Custom Made, one of our current stud dogs and Ch. Hijinks Anything Goes, 2003 Scottish Terrier Club of Louisville's "Best in Sweepstakes" winner as well as "Winners Bitch" and "Best of Winners" from the 6-9 month puppy class.

Ch. XTC Scalawagg Party of One, "Libby" was "Bob's" last champion and group winner.

Today, "Bob" is a healthy 13 year old, living the life of leisure.
